Ecole Française du XIXème, tête d'enfant en terre cuite, portant une signature apocryphe au crayon, possiblement une étude de Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux,(1827-1875)  à l'arrière du coup. Elle mesure 23cm de haut pour 16/17 de large environ et posée sur une base carré en bois non fixée et rapportée. Très belle pièce.

French School of the 19th century, terracotta child's head, bearing an apocryphal signature in pencil, possibly a study by Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux, (1827-1875) on the back of the neck. It measures 23cm high by 16/17 wide approximately and placed on a loose and added square wooden base. Very beautiful piece.
