A superb vintage pitcher with a square-sectioned body, made of glazed terracotta in shades of ochre, red, and white, featuring zoomorphic designs on the body. Fantastic birds and goats are depicted within a decorative lattice pattern. Measures 20cm high and 11cm across each side. A unique piece. Great find! From the Romacrea school, a group of artists who established a workshop and later an art school in Rome during the 1950s. |
